The Chassagne Montrachet 1er cru Les Ruchottes from Domaine Ramonet is a very small premier cru of the appellation. It is located between the premier cru La Romanée and En Cailleret . It is a terroir that is among the most famous of the entire Chassagne Montrachet appellation. It gives wines that combine substance, power and finesse. Magnificently vinified by the talented Jean-Claude Ramonet , he once again ranks the Ramonet estate as one of the very best in Burgundy .

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Chardonnay harvested at perfect maturity on an exceptional terroir and vinified by a genius, this can only give a great wine . It is the identity card of this Chassagne Montrachet Les Ruchottes which is more surprising with each vintage. It reveals a feeling of intense freshness which results from the combination of the terroir with its assertive character and the meticulous work carried out by the Ramonet estate.

On the nose, the sweet scent of yellow fruits closely rubs shoulders with notes of white flowers. A hint of mint appears after oxygenation of the wine. It is a nose that is both precise, clean and of great purity.

The mouth is just as pure as the nose, we find beautiful fruity notes (queen claude, orange, apricot). It's both exotic but fresh. Notes of lemongrass and a touch of fresh basil complete this superb work.
