Thirty barrels of eichteen year old single malt irish whiskey surfaced

One day and that does not happen often. We were intrigued. We committed when we learned that the whiskey had been distilled by noel sweeney while he was at the cooley distillery in county louth. Noel is among the most decorated distillers in ireland and a member of whiskey magazine's prestigious hall of fame. With the help of an old friend, we found noel and invited him to taste through all of his barrels and give us his impressions.

He agreed and, to our pleasant surprise, he told us each barrel was in possession of sufficient character and nuance to be bottled and sold as

"Single barrel" whiskey. He then cave us his tasting notes for each one. We decided to release five single barrels a year for six consecutive years. The first five were sold in 2021 at 18 years of age. The next five, this 2022

Vintage, are 19 years old. Included in this vintage are barrels 4380. 4333, 4342, 4335, and 4339 bottled exclusively for the us market.
