The 2017 Reserva Old Vine Malbec comes from three old vineyards: Altamira, Chacón and El Cepillo in La Consulta. It fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for 18 months. It’s a very traditional and expressive Malbec from la Consulta, with floral aromas and some spicy, smoky and herbal aromas. The palate reveals abundant, grainy tannins and a dry, serious finish.
